A downloadable mod

MOD WAS MADE BY TIRED IRON MODDING, I ONLY MADE IT A 6602

John Deere 6600 Sidehill by Tired Iron Modding (itch.io)  (original)

UPDATE 1.1, fixed the issue where it wouldn't unload, should work now, but if it doesnt, please let me know.
The John Deere 6602 combine.

The predecessor to the 6600 sidehill, built from 1970-1978 with the rest of the New Generation combines built by john deere.

finding information on this combine is rather scarce, so i will just give a quick description on it.

the 6602 has a 45% slope angle compared to the 6600 Sidehills 20% slope angle, making it a better combine for extreme hills, such as Palouse or Westby, and the new map Hubbard.(218 grain head is recommended because of the wider wheels, and yes, the warning is known, but it isn’t game breaking)

i do not want this mod uploaded to other sites, if it is(and will be) on other sites, i highly advise to not download it.

hillside, sidehill two very different combines

indeed they were

(+1)

1470/1670/2388/8230

7722/9600/STS/S-series

These are all the most common used in the Palouse.
keep up the good work

would love to see all of these as a pack of hillside combines

This is awesome! I farm on the Palouse with my dad and have always wanted hillside combines in fs22. I would be willing to help on the project of putting levelers on fs22 combines!

Finally a proper PNW style hillside machine! Thank you! If you're looking for more ideas for hillside machines, check out some of Hillco's product brochures.

I’ve heard of Hillco, I farm with older equipment but I know almost everyone uses modern so I’ll definitely have to check it out

Nice mod! Next do a 6622 or maybe IH 1470!

6622 was actually on my to-do list, but a 1470… red power, now that would be fun

(1 edit) (+1)

would love to see both maybe a 1670, or 9xx0 JD/2388 with leveling

(+1)

and maximizer 9410 - 9610.  There's also hillside 9510 too

(+1)

They also made a 7722 as the larger hillside combine offered. I've seen more of those in the Palouse than 6622s

(+1)

really? Man, I might have to make the whole fleet of self-leveling combines now

(+1)

that would be awesome to see

Here’s a couple ideas, these machines are for sale in my area. The 9610 has a John Rea conversion, which can hang onto hills pretty well compared to some others. My cousin has a Case 2188 with a Rea leveler. Only a few were done to red machines, the rest were Deere.

Just a heads up I can't get it to unload into a wagon. Otherwise great job

really? It worked when I tested it, I’ll look into it

what kind of wagon did you used?

Turns out it was working on my test map, but not others like Hubbard, I’m fixing it right now, and a update should be out within the next hour
